District establishes parking and athletic participation fees for 2012-2013
The Oxford Area School District has established 2012-2013 parking permit fees at Oxford Area High School and athletic participation fees at the high school and Penn’s Grove Middle School.
The athletic participation fee is designed to offset operational expenses incurred in the athletic program and to provide funding for facility maintenance and development. All students in grades seven through twelve who will participate in the interscholastic athletic program will be responsible for payment of these fees.
Payments will be collected after team rosters have been established and prior to the first regular season contest. If there is an instance where the participation fee cannot be paid, the student’s parent/guardian is asked to contact the building administrator.
Once the activity fee is paid it will not be refunded.
The following fees were approved by the Board of School Directors at the May 15 Regular Board meeting:
Oxford Area High School
Athletic Participation Fee - $75.00 per sport
Parking Permit Fee - $50.00 per school year*
Penn’s Grove Middle School
Athletic Participation Fee - $50.00 per sport
*Parking permits will be available for purchase in the main office of the high school beginning in August. All students requesting parking permits must provide proof of insurance, registration and valid driver’s license. (Should the parking permit be revoked for disciplinary reasons a refund will not be issued.)
Checks can be made payable to Oxford Area School District. Cash will also be accepted.
