Oxford Area High School schedules summer cheerleading camp

The Oxford Area High School Cheerleaders will hold the 2013 Cheerleading Camps for students entering kindergarten through eighth grade.

Session 1 will be held from Monday, June 24 to Thursday, June 27 and Session 2 from Monday, July 29 to Thursday, August 1. Camps will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the main gymnasium of the high school located at 705 Waterway Road, East Nottingham.

Registration fee is $70 and includes a T-shirt. Checks are payable to "OAHS Cheer."

Campers will learn how to jump, dance, cheer and stunt. Different material will be taught at each session so campers can attend both if they wish. Walk-ins will be accepted, however please note that it is first come, first serve. 

Campers should arrive wearing sneakers, T-shirt or tank top, cotton shorts or sweats. Hair should be pulled up and no jewelry should be worn.

Campers should bring a light snack, a drink (preferably water) - and a smile!

On the final day of camp, parents and friends are invited to attend a performance by all the campers at 11 a.m.
