Per court order dated November 19, 2012, “school directors of the Oxford Area School District shall be elected by a combination at large and region plan as follows: Three (3) school directors shall be elected on an at large basis. Six (6) school directors shall be elected on a regional basis, two (2) directors from each of the three (3) regions. The regions shall be designated as follows: Region I – Upper Oxford, Lower Oxford East, Oxford Borough East; Region II – Lower Oxford West, Oxford Borough West, West Nottingham; Region III – Elk, East Nottingham. All present school directors shall be deemed to have been elected by and from the region in which they presently reside except Directors Donna L. Arrowood and Gary E. Olson who are hereby designated as at large directors. At the municipal election in 2013, one director shall be elected at large and one director shall be elected from each region”.
