Barbara
was a four-year field hockey player and captain in her senior year and
a four-year basketball player. She was girls' sports editor for the 1957 Kernel yearbook. Selected as "Most Athletic" in her
senior year, Barbara was extremely easy to coach, yet very competitive
and sportmanlike. She was a strong scorer in both sports, going on to
play and coach baskeball at the University of Pennsylania School of Nursing. |

| Kimberly played four years of varsity softball, three years of varsity basketball and two years of varsity field hockey. She was captain and co-captain in both softball and basketball, and was selected First Team All-League and MVP in softball and honorable mention All-League for field hockey. Upon returning to Oxford as a teacher, Kimberly coached field hockey, basketball and softball. | Joe played four years of soccer and three years of basketball and baseball, serving as captain in all three sports in his senior year. Joe went on to play all three sports at Western Maryland College, and then played baseball in the semi-pro Susquehanna League and Ohio Valley Industrial League. |

Mr.
Thompson coached soccer, baseball and basketball as a teacher and a principal.
In addition he coached Oxford baseball teams in the summer. Mr. Thompson
attended Western Maryland College where he played baseball and tennis.
He also played baseball in the Keystone League. He is remembered as a
great mentor to countless Oxford High School student-athletes. |

| Sam played four years of basketball, two years of soccer and baseball and one year of track. He earned seven varsity letters and four JV letters. He was selected as captain for basketball, soccer and baseball in his senior year. He was selected as All-Southern Chester County League in basketball and baseball, and was part of the track and field county championship in his senior year. | Robert played soccer for one year, basketball for three years and four years of varsity track. Selected as Best Class Athlete in 1963, he was an All-Southern Chester County League selection in basketball and a member of the Chester County team as well as SCCL high scorer for basketball. In addition he was a Southern Chester County high hurdle champion in 1963. After graduation he played in the DuPont League. | "Toni" was a three-year varsity member of the track team as well as the indoor track and cross-country teams. In her senior year she made States in cross-country, finishing 31st. In her junior year she was a member of the 3200-meter relay team that finished first at States in 1988. While at OAHS she held records in the 400-, 600-, 1600- and 3200-meter runs as well as in the 3200- and 1600-meter relays. Toni went on to run cross country and track at Penn State. |
