Hans
was an Oxford High School graduate who has been selected and is recognized
for early contributions to athletics in the Oxford Community prior to
district consolidation. |
David
Neff |
Dave
taught for 11 years at Oxford High School and coached basketball and track
as well as serving as Athletic Director for five years. He had several
championships while at Oxford and went on to play 14 years of amateur
and semi-pro ball in basketball and baseball. |
Bill
Bard |
Bill
was a three-sport varsity athlete at Oxford High playing basketball, baseball
and soccer. He was the leading scoring champion for basketball for 1957.
He was the captain of the basketball team in his senior year when the
team won the league championship in 1956-57. |
James
Aylsworth |
Jimmy
coached boys’ and girls’ cross-country and boys’ track
and field for 26 years at Oxford Area High School. Under his leadership
several students earned state medals and he had three league champion
teams and two district champion teams. He coached Josianne Lauber to the
State AAA Cross Country crown in 2000. |
Donna
Draper-Gray |
Donna
was a two-sport athlete at Oxford High participating in cheerleading and
track and field. She was a multi-event participant in track and field
in the 100, 200, 4x1 relay, long jump and triple jump. She held the school
record for the 200 meters (27.3 seconds) for 14 years until 1999. |
Timothy
Robinson |
Timmy
was a three-time triple jump state medallist and the state triple jump
champion in 1990. He was a three-sport varsity athlete at Oxford, participating
in basketball and soccer. He also scored over 1,000 points in basketball. |
